With 30+ years of combined business and financial experience, Michael had a vision over 15 years ago to create a company that put people first and where client and company successes were linked.  That vision led to the founding of Staines Financial, where Michael developed a business model that put clients first and customer service was more than a catch phrase. Over a decade later his vision is a reality and his track record of building trust and wealth for his clients speaks for itself.

“What can I do to improve your quality of life?”.  This isn’t just a question, it's Michael’s personal Mission Statement, and one that resonates across Staines Financial where the client is more than a voice on the other end of the line, and their needs can be just as personal as they are financial. Michael firmly believes that focusing on the clients as individuals is key to building trust, confidence, and meaningful relationships that help drive success in their financial lives and improve quality of life.

Michael has a long history of success creating these "win-win" scenarios and a reputation for delivering transparent, high quality client experiences that span his breadth of clients, both individual and corporate. Michael’s passion for his clients has allowed him to deliver on his vision and help many of his clients turn their financial goals into actionable plans positioned to deliver success and peace of mind. 

Michael's passion for people, building relationships, and focusing on quality of life doesn't' just extend from, but rather is born from his passion for his family.  Michael is a master at finding synergies and doesn't subscribe to the old adage of  "work life balance", as a balance implies a tradeoff.  He likes to think about it as a work life synergy and rest assured when he's not focusing on his Staines Financial family he's spending quality time with his wife and children, and their four legged family members in their Northern CA home.  Michael and his family love to travel, go shopping and watch their beloved Yankees and Cowboys. They especially love weekends away to Arizona with family and friends.
